We’re hiring experienced Cable Technicians to support a massive ISP/OSP ramp‑up for a brand‑new hyperscale data center build.
If you have strong hands‑on experience with cabling, termination, copper work, and Fluke testing — this is where you thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing (Onsite Responsibilities)
Fiber & Copper Installation
Pull high volumes of fiber in data hall and riser environments
Perform fiber and copper terminations (Cat5/Cat6, LC, SC, etc.)
Splice fiber — including ribbonized and traditional splicing
Set up, dress, and manage cable pathways with clean, consistent workmanship
Testing & Quality Assurance
Use Fluke Versiv testers (fiber & copper)
Verify labeling, patch panel labeling, termination accuracy, and cable dressing
Troubleshoot opens, shorts, miswires, and link failures
Perform continuity tests and tone/trace work
Infrastructure Build‑Out
Install J‑hooks, ladder rack, cable tray, fiber runner, and support structures
Build out IDF/MDF rooms from the ground up (racks, patch panels, hardware)
Ground and bond equipment as required
Assist with rack & stack, equipment mounting, and pathway installation
Teamwork & Leadership on Site
Work both independently and with a structured crew
Communicate with supervisors and elevate issues as needed
Help keep pace with project timelines and ensure safe work practices
Contribute to a positive team environment, especially in a hot, high‑volume data center setting
What You Bring
Cat5/Cat6 install & crimping
Basic troubleshooting
Experience in live data centers
Understanding of QA best practices
Work Environment
Indoor & outdoor work
New build data center – hot, no AC, lots of walking
Ladder & lift work (heights involved)
Hauling materials long distances
Working in IDF rooms, risers, rooftops, and open data halls
Guaranteed 40 hours minimum per week.
Overtime is optional, unless not enough volunteers step up.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
