
Workday Financial Systems Administrator

Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Brooklyn, NY that is seeking a Workday Financial Systems Administrator to support and enhance our financial systems ecosystem. The candidate will be expected to work 2 days a week on-site in Brooklyn, NY. This role will serve as a primary administrator for Workday Financials, partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, and cross‑functional teams to drive system stability, optimization, and transformation initiatives, including automation and AI enablement.
Administer and support Workday Financials, including configuration, security, reporting, integrations, and biannual upgrades
Troubleshoot system issues and provide end‑user support in compliance with SOX and change management controls
Partner with Finance and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business needs into system and process solutions
Support auxiliary finance systems (e.g., Blackline, Coupa, Planful, Workiva) and related integrations
Lead or support finance systems projects using SDLC methodologies
Contribute to finance transformation initiatives focused on efficiency, automation, and scalable solutions
Requirements
4+ years of hands‑on Workday Financials administration experience
Strong understanding of core finance processes (GL, AP, close, banking, revenue, etc.)
Experience supporting system integrations and SOX‑controlled environments
Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
Experience with Coupa or similar procurement systems preferred
Interest or experience leveraging AI and automation in finance operations is a plus
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
