Role Overview
The Energy Sales Outreach Representative is responsible for initiating conversations with homeowners, qualifying interest, and setting high-quality appointments for Energy Consultants. This role is front-line, performance-driven, and focused on consistent daily execution. Success is measured by activity, appointment quality, and show rates. This is an outbound sales position ideal for individuals who are competitive, coachable, and motivated by performance-based earnings.

Core Responsibilities

Conduct outbound outreach (door-to-door, phone, or assigned channels depending on market)

Engage homeowners in conversations about energy efficiency and home improvement solutions

Clearly communicate the value of a free home energy consultation

Qualify homeowners based on basic criteria (homeownership, interest, availability)

Set and confirm appointments accurately in the CRM

Follow company-approved scripts and talk tracks

Handle basic objections with confidence and professionalism

Maintain daily activity standards and performance metrics

Provide accurate notes and updates for the sales and operations teams

Represent the company brand with integrity and professionalism at all times

Daily Execution Expectations

Consistent outbound activity during assigned working hours

Adherence to scheduling, confirmation, and follow-up standards

Openness to daily coaching, feedback, and performance reviews

Accountability to personal and team goals

Proper use of company tools and systems

Performance Metrics

Appointments set per day/week

Required Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Punctual, reliable, and self-disciplined

Customer service or appointment-setting background

Energy, solar, or home services industry exposure
