Description
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) has extensive knowledge of products as well as sales and installation territories providing support to the office, sales department and customers of Survive a Storm and Matador product lines. The CSR drives productivity by ensuring the sales leads are distributed to the appropriate salesperson, completing customer follow up as needed which results in accurate lead distribution and increased revenue. The CSR is a versatile and adaptive individual who welcomes visitors either in person or via the multi‑line phone system. The CSR will support other departments with special projects throughout their career, creating opportunities to learn the business as well as gain experience in other areas of the organization.

Responsibilities

Manages high call volume and web chats for multiple product lines.

Coordinates, communicates, and consults with sales representatives on customer calls and sales leads.

Assists with quoting processes for all RGDS segments.

Assists with post‑sales processed for various departments.

Documents in CRM database with clear concise notes and sets tasks for future follow‑up for sales representatives.

Processes payments for customers when needed.

When needed, communicates with customers concerning their needs and initiatives while educating them on products and company capabilities.

Sends out follow‑up emails/marketing materials and maintains communication for future opportunities with customers and company partners.

Contacts customers to collect necessary documents to complete sales.

Acts as the director of first impressions of RGDS; answers phone calls and chats in a friendly manner.

Distributes interoffice mail, outgoing mail, and local office deliveries.

Completes a variety of office projects requested by departments or leadership team members.

Prepares agendas and makes arrangements such as coordinating catering for luncheons and meetings, and organizing company events.

Sets up rental car and flight itinerary for leadership team members.

Completes and mails customer installation certificates.

Qualifications

2+ years related professional office experience.

1+ years of customer service experience.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Excellent organizational skills and superior attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Valid Driver’s License.

Work Environment

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.

The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in a typical office or administrative work).

The compensation range provided for this role is an estimate based on available market data. The actual amount may vary considering the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. Salary Description: $18.00-$20.00 per hour.
