Job Overview
Lead Pricing Analyst – responsible for developing and implementing global pricing and contracting strategy for J&J Heart Recovery products, working closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Contracting and other cross‑functional partners.
Responsibilities
Assist in the creation of global pricing and contracting strategy for J&J Heart Recovery products; synthesize customer, industry and competitive insights.
Develop and implement contract strategy dashboards to track pricing strategies and business impact.
Proactively conduct competitive and marketplace analyses to ensure evolving contracting approaches.
Collaborate with stakeholders and key cross‑functional departments to ensure success of commercial strategies, including product launches, development and go‑to‑market strategies.
Identify areas for improvement within systems, processes, and interactions and surface recommendations to management.
Support development and maintenance of tools for insight generation, performance management, and leadership reporting.
Serve as SME for business partners.
Take an active role in developing and improving training materials and SOPs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; concentration in Finance, Business, Accounting, Marketing or Data Analytics preferred.
At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
Experience gathering and translating data into strategies and solutions.
Experience with CRM, ERP and/or contract management systems.
Preferred
At least 4 years in Pricing, Finance, Operations, Sales Effectiveness, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Experience working in Healthcare or Life Sciences.
Analytical problem solver able to analyze competitive landscapes, economic objectives and customer preferences to inform decision‑making.
High proficiency in MS Excel and experience extracting, concatenating, analyzing and reporting large data sets via dashboards.
Proven analytical problem‑solving skills with timely data‑driven solutions.
Experience in customer price benchmarking.
Ability to collaborate effectively across a cross‑functional environment and gain support from a wide range of stakeholders.
Proficiency in prioritizing and managing multiple concurrent deliverables for different end users.
Travel up to 10% may be required.
