Job Description
We’re seeking a detail-oriented HR Coordinator (People Operations) who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure, optimizing processes, and delivering a seamless employee experience through strong operational execution, while leveraging tools, automation, and AI to improve efficiency.
You’ll support the end-to-end employee lifecycle, partnering closely with the People team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability across HR processes. This role is heavily focused on People Operations, systems, and process coordination, with limited involvement in recruiting.
What Your Days Will Be Like
Own and support key People Operations processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, off‑boarding, job changes, and data management
Maintain and audit employee data in Workday (HRIS), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and data integrity
Coordinate and execute core People programs such as performance cycles, engagement initiatives, and compliance‑related processes
Manage and track HR requests and workflows through Jira (or similar ticketing systems), ensuring timely resolution and strong service delivery
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless and consistent employee experience across all touchpoints
Document and continuously improve HR processes, workflows, and internal knowledge resources
Support benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries related to policies, payroll, and programs
Assist with reporting and data pulls to support People insights and decision‑making
Leverage tools, automation, and AI to streamline repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and enhance operational effectiveness
Provide limited support to Talent Acquisition systems (e.g., maintaining candidate data in SmartRecruiters) as needed
Qualifications
3–4 years of experience in an HR Coordinator, People Operations, or HR Operations role
Strong hands‑on experience with Workday (HRIS)
Experience working with Jira or similar ticketing/project management tools
Familiarity with SmartRecruiters (ATS) or similar systems (light usage)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Process‑oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
Strong communication skills and a customer‑service approach to employee support
Comfort leveraging tools, systems, and emerging technologies (including AI) to improve workflows
Proactive, dependable, and solutions‑oriented
Compensation
Compensation: $23.08/hr - $28.84/hr
The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
