Summary and Purpose
Plan and perform a variety of electrical assembly operations working from controls schematics, drawings and specifications following detailed instructions.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and perform a variety of electrical assembly functions utilizing precision instruments, hand tools and drawing/schematics under documented procedures with general guidance
Document changes to controls drawings/schematics
Perform I/O inspection functions following company policies and procedures
Use hand tools and basic power tools such as drills, grinders and bandsaws
Collaborate with assembly and controls personnel to troubleshoot equipment
Complete electronic labor reporting
Assist other electricians in electrical assembly operations and procedures
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the electrical assembly team and its functions
Perform other related duties as required by management
Potential travel with equipment for installation
Professional Qualifications
Education
Three to five years’ experience in similar industry or custom machine-building manufacturing desired
High school diploma or equivalent required; A.A.S. in electronics or electrical technology or advanced training in electrical technology acceptable
Experience
Ability to read schematics (AutoCAD Electrical)
Familiarity with NEC and NFPA 70E standards
Skills
Detail oriented and accurate
Ability to operate computer (Microsoft Suite)
Ability to perform I/O inspections
