The University of South Florida (USF) and Tampa General Hospital (TGH) invite applications for an Academic pulmonologist specializing in Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD). The applicant should have a strong academic record in the area of ILD. Responsibilities
Join nationally ranked Heart and Lung Transplant Programs recognized for outstanding clinical outcomes and patient survival, among the best in the country
Opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary team of rheumatologists, radiologists, pathologists, advanced lung disease experts and transplant specialists
Provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced lung disease with emphasis in ILD across the entire transplant continuum in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Manage a comprehensive ILD center and programs that provide care for over 1500 patients
Participate in multidisciplinary pulmonary consults, ICU rounds, and be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows as faculty
Engage in scholarly activities such as clinical research, quality improvement, and academic presentations
Priority given to candidates with expertise in both heart and lung transplantation
Active involvement in resident and medical student education within USF Health Morsani College of Medicine
Take advantage of a strong research environment with ample opportunities for clinical and translational collaboration, including funded institutional and industry-sponsored studies
