Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Care Coordinator to join the team at our Brooklyn Heights clinic in Brooklyn. Care Coordinators are responsible for supporting patient care by making our patients feel welcomed and valued while also controlling the flow of appointments. Care Coordinators are expected to respond to all phone calls and emails within 2 hours and always within 24 hours. Care Coordinators will guide our patients through our out‑of‑network experience, greet all patients who enter the clinic with a smile, and execute 5‑star customer service. Friendly collaboration is valued to ensure everyone receives the care and support they need.

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience

Someone who is hospitable, welcoming, and team‑orientated

Strong communication skills and ability to multi‑task

A strong attention to detail and willingness to grow

BA/BS degree preferred, not required

Manual dexterity to manipulate office equipment and make written notations

Ability to use computer keyboard 90% of each workday

Hearing acuity to communicate over the telephone

Visual acuity to read information on computer screen

The ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time

Occasionally lift 10 pounds floor to waist
