Position Purpose:
Under the direction of a licensed healthcare provider (school nurse), the Certified Medical Assistant assists the Pleasant Crossing Elementary School nurse with coordination of student specific procedures. The CMA helps maintain a safe learning environment within the Essential Skills classrooms.

Job Summary:
A contract position is available for a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated 1:1 care in a school setting located in Whiteland, IN. This role requires a compassionate professional skilled in delivering individualized nursing support to a student who requires focused, one-on-one attention to thrive academically and medically throughout the school day.
Responsibilities
Provide direct 1:1 nursing care to students with specific health needs
Monitor and manage medical conditions while at school and/or home setting, implementing care plans effectively
Communicate with school staff and family to ensure coordinated care
Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with policies
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and daily health concerns
Qualifications
Current and valid RN license is required
Experience in school nursing or young adult care preferred
Strong ability to work independently and advocate for student health needs
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Comfort with managing 1:1 care in an educational environment
