Activity Therapist – Per Diem
Arbour Hospital provides high‑quality behavioral health care to patients and families across a continuum of services. The Activity Therapist is a key member of the inpatient multidisciplinary treatment team, delivering expressive arts therapy, psycho‑educational groups, and recreational activities to patients on psychiatric units.
Responsibilities
Perform initial activity therapy assessment to develop appropriate treatment goals
Facilitate 4 groups per day
Complete group documentation and communicate with other members of the treatment team via treatment planning and team meetings
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field required
6 months experience as a group leader in a psychiatric hospital, partial hospitalization, or intensive outpatient treatment program preferred
