
RN – Infection Preventionist / Staff Development Coordinator

We’re looking for a Registered Nurse to take on the role of Infection Preventionist / Staff Development Coordinator. In this dual role, you will lead infection prevention efforts, train and support staff, assist with hiring and onboarding, and help create a positive, growth‑focused workplace.

Passion for Education and Training: Effectively educate healthcare staff and patients about infection prevention practices.
Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate others to follow infection prevention practices.
Data Management and Analysis: Monitor, track, analyze data and trends associated with infections, immunizations and antibiotic use, and educational opportunities.
Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.
Communication: Support a respectful and positive work environment.
Requirements
Active Indiana RN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
Completion of the Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Training through the CDC (can be provided at this facility upon hire), or advanced training in infection prevention and control.
