
Blown Film Machine Operator - Day Shift

Schedule
Work only 15 days per month with our unique rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
Work: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
12-hour static shifts (Days 7:00am - 7:00pm)
What You'll Do
Responsible for the operation and output of assigned production lines which include but are not limited to the following tasks:
Shutdown, startup, switchovers, order preparation, production, and routine maintenance.
Effectively analyze process control charts to monitor and/or correct production-related problems.
Recognizing and troubleshooting visual defects in the film being produced.
Conducting and documenting routine inspections on a variety of production-related components.
Utilizing sound judgement in reducing and eliminating production of scrap material.
Working cooperatively with Material Handlers to efficiently manage production process
Maintain a clean work environment
Perform all duties following standard operating procedures and safety requirements.
Essential Qualifications
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
Strong communication skills and positive attitude
Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years of plastic extrusion experience
Basic computer knowledge
Previous manufacturing experience
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly - Rate based on experience. Additional 2.50 per hour night shift differential.
