Position Summary
Seeking a reliable Press Brake Operator to set up and operate press brake equipment to form metal parts to specification. This role requires blueprint reading, tooling selection, quality inspection, and a strong focus on safety in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and adjust press brake machinery
Select appropriate tooling and dies based on material and job requirements
Form metal parts to print using blueprints and work orders
Inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges, and precision tools
Perform basic troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance
Maintain production, scrap, and quality documentation
Package finished parts and prepare materials for next production steps
Assist with other fabrication equipment as trained
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Required Qualifications
Prior manufacturing or machine operator experience
Press brake or metal fabrication experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
Knowledge of metal materials and fabrication processes
Willingness to learn additional machinery as needed
Strong attendance and safety record
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Manufacturing environment with noise, temperature changes, and machine hazards
PPE required (safety glasses, hearing protection, steel/composite-toe boots)
Regular lifting up to 20 lbs; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs
Frequent standing, reaching, and material handling
