Job Overview
Aishling Obstetrics and Gynecology along with Fox Valley Vein Center are looking for a full-time/part-time experienced and caring OB/GYN Ultrasound Technologist with vascular ultrasound experience to join our healthcare team. RDMS & RVT are required. The role involves traveling between three locations.
Major Responsibilities
Aishling Obstetrics & Gynecology
Conduct ultrasounds to track fetal growth, assess heart rate, and identify any potential abnormalities or birth defects.
Evaluate placenta and amniotic fluid, and determine or confirm due date based on fetal measurements.
Perform pelvic ultrasounds to assess uterus, ovaries, and other pelvic organs.
Operate ultrasound equipment, adjusting settings to obtain optimal images.
Document findings, record patient information, and communicate results to physicians.
Maintain required CME credits for ARDMS.
Maintain current ARDMS certification.
Fox Valley Vein Center
Perform ultrasound examination of patients and create diagrams demonstrating venous anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology to assist the physician in recommending a safe, effective treatment plan.
Assist the physician during ultrasound guided injection treatment sessions with appropriate directions regarding needle placement, and recommendations for volume and strength of solution to be injected.
Assist the physician during procedures with appropriate directions regarding catheter placement and withdrawal, and set up for and clean up following ablation procedures.
Perform all additional scans indicated by the treatment plan at the physician’s direction to ensure the efficacy of treatment and safety of the patients.
Maintain equipment and manage the supply inventory to ensure continued and effective operations.
Obtain and document patient photos at several intervals throughout the treatment process.
Must have and maintain RVT certification.
Qualifications
RDMS & RVT required.
Maintain required CME credits for ARDMS.
Maintain current ARDMS certification.
Diagnostic experience in vascular ultrasound.
