Program Structure
Approximately 16 Weeks Of Comprehensive Training, Including:
One-on-one preceptorship
Didactic education
Hands‑on clinical experience in OB and L&D
Program Outcome
Successful completion leads to a
full-time position in Labor & Delivery .
Commitment Requirement
Participants are expected to commit to
two years
on the L&D unit following program completion.

LDRP model with a Special Care Nursery
Expansive OB and Midwife delivery models
Unit focuses on physiologic birth, shared decision making, and evidence-based practice
Collaborative, interdisciplinary culture with high level nursing autonomy
Supportive leadership, experienced preceptors, and a commitment to professional growth
Opportunities to mentor, precept and contribute to unit-based excellence
Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required
