Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for an assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. This assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts, and pays $1,422‑$1,569 per week (tax‑free stipend, subject to confirmation).
Essential Responsibilities
Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families by applying the clinical process of assessment, care planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the care delivered.
Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner.
1‑2 years minimum acute care experience.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to handle a multi‑task environment.
Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment.
Contract Details
$1,422 – $1,569 per week*
13‑week contract with possibility of extension.
