OB/GYN Sonographer

A client of AlphaStaffHCM™ is seeking a part‑time OBGYN Sonographer for a Women’s HealthCare company. This is a practice with a team that is notably dedicated to bettering the lives of the women of Georgia. With locations in Fayetteville, Newnan, and Stockbridge, Georgia, the practice extends a healing hand to women of all ages and from all walks of life.

Key Responsibilities

Be proficient in OB/GYN imaging and operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment in accordance with practice guidelines, including 3D/4D technology

Demonstrate the ability to obtain high‑quality diagnostic images

Consistently demonstrate the ability to differentiate between normal and abnormal anatomy

Assist physicians with sonohysterograms and endometrial biopsies

Document ultrasound findings in a timely, comprehensive, and accurate manner

Maintain equipment and supplies

Coordinate equipment maintenance with the lead sonographer

Follow safety protocols and use proper disinfecting techniques when maintaining ultrasound machines

Have excellent interpersonal skills and work well within a large organization

Environment

The hours will vary based on need in the practice.

Most shifts will be pre‑planned as needed. Occasional last‑minute fill in as needed.

Location: Piedmont Fayette hospital and clinic locations of either Fayette and Newnan or Fayette and Stockbridge.

Must Have Qualifications

RDMS certification

2+ years of experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer in an OB/GYN setting

Nice To Have Qualifications

Experience with GE ultrasound equipment

Compensation and Benefits
