HR Generalist

This position supports the human resources responsibilities and activities of the facility. They undertake various HR functions including recruitment processes, performance management, policy application, employee relations, regulatory compliance, and training and development. Human Resources Generalists also support leaders in making people-related decisions and are involved in every aspect of the employment life cycle. They also serve as a main point of contact for employees' queries on HR-related topics.

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.

Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes

Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives

Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise

Support performance management and corrective action programs

Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying policies and benefits and organizing team building activities

Manage HR communications for facility

Maintain accurate employee data and records within HRIS, ATS, timekeeping system, and document repositories

Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics

Maintain Affinitiative Action Plans throughout the year

Implement policies and procedures and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal law

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age

Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future

Must have at least one (1) year of work experience in Human Resources, or have completed a Sherwin-Williams development program in Human Resources

Preferred Qualifications

Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Organizational/Industrial Psychology, or Business Management

Have a Professional in Human Resources ("PHR"), Senior Professional in Human Resources ("SPHR"), SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification

Have prior work experience ensuring compliance with laws and regulations

Have prior work experience using an HRIS and/or ATS

Have prior work experience maintaining an Affinitiative Action Plan

Have prior work experience maintaining and analyzing data

Have prior work experience using timekeeping systems

Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facility
