Seasonal Warehouse Associate – HVAC Products
Carrier Enterprise (CE) is a national HVAC/R distributor with over 200 locations across 28 states, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico and Canada.
Job Summary
Seasonal associates will learn HVAC‑R distribution, acquire skills, and earn extra cash. Positions are open for [Time Frame].
Age requirement:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Pay rate:
Competitive hourly rate.
Work hours:
Daytime Monday – Friday (no nights or weekends).
Location:
Will work onsite at our [Location].
Work Schedule
Part‑time: 4–6 hours per day.
Full‑time: 7–8 hours per day.
All roles scheduled Monday – Friday day shift.
Daily schedule: approx. 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (flex up to 60 minutes).
Responsibilities
Understand logistics and operations of commercial & wholesale business.
Store materials/equipment and collaborate with forklift team for staging, loading, and unloading.
Uphold environmental health & safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service to external customers such as mechanical contractors, dealers, and owners.
Track and manage parts and supplies; pull orders when needed.
Work closely with internal customers: Distribution Center team, Branch Associates, Sales Managers.
Follow safety procedures and training.
Adhere to processes and detailed instructions.
Communicate effectively (written & oral) and work within a team.
Qualifications
Prior experience in retail, customer service, material handling, or product delivery is a plus but not required.
Ability to work safely in a warehouse and distribution environment.
Basic computer skills for timecard entry, training material review, and video tutorials.
Commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
Team‑oriented and willing to work with a diverse group of coworkers.
