Introduction
The Hilton Anaheim is seeking an Overnight Steward to join our team! In this role, you’ll help maintain the heart of our kitchen by transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and service ware. You’ll play an essential part in supporting our culinary team and contributing to Hilton’s commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and hospitality.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

The ability to work an overnight shift including nights, weekends and holidays.

The ability to bend, stoop, walk and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.

Previous experience as a Steward/Dishwasher is a PLUS!

Shift Pattern:
Full-Time

Shift Schedule:
10:00pm – 6:30am

Hourly Range:
$23.55 per hour – $29.44 per hour

What will I be doing?
As a Overnight Steward, you would be responsible for transporting and cleaning all kitchen equipment including buffet, cooking utensils and service ware in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Perform cleaning duties including, but not limited to, mopping and removing trash

Transport and store clean service ware

Train other stewards, as needed

Prepare and place clean service ware for events and functions

Cleans broilers, peelers, ranges, steam gaskets, kettles, mixers, stainless steel tables and all cook’s stations.

Cleans hoods, ovens, deep fryers and changes oil as needed.

Sweeps and mops the kitchen.

Cleans all waste cans from the kitchen area. They are moved to the garbage disposal and are emptied, cleaned and returned to their proper station.

Cleans and steams all the rubber mats from the kitchen and returns them to the proper station.

Sweeps and mops the Loading Dock, and cleans all the floor drains in the kitchen.

Collects and brings down to the Laundry all dirty rags from the kitchen.

Supportive Functions:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of supportive functions, with a percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
