Job Description
We’re looking for a dependable, hands‑on Facility Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance and repairs across multiple properties throughout North Eastern, PA. This role requires experience with HVAC equipment, plumbing, electrical work, and small appliance repairs, and someone who can work independently and get things done.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment (filters, belts, basic inspections)
Troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues
Repair and maintain small appliances (microwaves, refrigerators, ice makers, dishwashers, etc.)
Handle general building maintenance: doors, locks, drywall, ceilings, flooring, and hardware
Respond to work orders and maintenance calls at multiple locations
Work with outside contractors when needed
Assist with emergency or on‑call repairs as required
Lease Turnover Cleaning Checklist
General Unit Cleaning
Remove all trash, debris, and abandoned items.
Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors.
Dust all surfaces, ledges, baseboards, and trim.
Clean interior doors, frames, and hardware.
Clean interior windows, tracks, and sills.
Wipe down walls and spot‑clean marks.
Replace light bulbs and clean fixtures.
Check smoke/CO detectors and replace batteries if needed.
Document damages beyond normal wear and tear.
Kitchen Turnover Cleaning
Clean and sanitize countertops and backsplashes.
Clean inside/outside of cabinets and drawers.
Clean and sanitize sinks and faucets.
Appliances:
Refrigerator: interior, exterior, shelves, drawers, seals
Oven/Stove: interior, racks, burners, drip pans
Microwave: interior, exterior, filters
Dishwasher: interior, filter, gasket
Range hood: exterior and degrease filters
Polish stainless steel surfaces.
Sweep and mop kitchen flooring.
Check for leaks under sink and report issues.
Bathroom Turnover Cleaning
Clean and disinfect toilets (including base and behind).
Clean tubs, showers, tiles, and grout.
Clean and polish faucets, showerheads, and handles.
Clean mirrors and medicine cabinets.
Clean inside/outside of vanities and drawers.
Remove soap scum, mildew, and hard‑water stains.
Sweep and mop floors.
Check and replace caulking where needed.
Inspect for leaks or slow drains.
Bedrooms & Living Areas
Vacuum carpets and spot‑treat stains.
Clean closets, shelving, and tracks.
Clean ceiling fans and light fixtures.
Wipe blinds and window treatments.
Ensure outlets, switches, and covers are clean and intact.
Patch small nail holes (if included in scope).
Report wall damage requiring repair or painting.
