We are seeking a skilled
Litigation Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary
to provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong calendaring, filing, and document-preparation experience in civil litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, format, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, and correspondence
Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, and docketing requirements
Coordinate e-filing with state and federal courts
Schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and client meetings
Maintain electronic and physical case files
Assist with discovery organization and document management
Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors
Provide general administrative support to litigation attorneys
Qualifications
2+ years of experience
as a litigation legal assistant or legal secretary
Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court rules
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and legal case management systems
Experience with state and federal e-filing systems
Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
Legal assistant certificate or legal studies background preferred
