We are a growing insurance defense firm with over 100 years of experience, offering hands-on mentorship, strong support staff, and a clear path to developing as a litigator.

What You’ll Do
Manage a caseload of insurance defense and civil litigation matters
Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery
Take depositions
Appear in court for hearings and conferences
Collaborate with partners on litigation strategy and trial preparation
What to Expect
Caseload:
Typically 15-20 active files depending on complexity, with partner supervision
Mentorship:
Direct partner access, with regular feedback on writing, strategy, and courtroom work
Hybrid schedule:
Available after approximately 60–90 days, based on onboarding progress
Qualifications
Licensed in Michigan or recent bar passer
Strong legal writing and communication skills
Organized with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Interest in litigation and trial work
Experience or coursework in Michigan no-fault law is a plus
Work Environment
Office located in Troy, Michigan
In-person collaboration with a transition to hybrid flexibility
Team-oriented environment with accessible leadership
