Automotive Technician Responsibilities
Perform automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance according to manufacturer and dealership standards
Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, brake, suspension, steering, HVAC, and drivability concerns
Complete repair orders accurately and thoroughly
Road test vehicles and confirm repair quality
Maintain productivity, efficiency, and attention to detail
Work closely with service advisors, parts, and leadership to support the customer experience
Keep work area clean, safe, and organized
Complete required training and maintain certifications
Automotive Technician Qualifications
5+ years of automotive repair experience preferred
Class A technician experience required
CDJR dealership experience preferred
ASE certifications preferred
Master Technician background strongly preferred
Strong diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
