The WVU School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute seek non-invasive cardiologists (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) for faculty positions in Princeton, WV.
Locations and Travel
Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill duties at these additional sites.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligible for state medical license
Board certified in internal medicine
Board certified or eligible in cardiovascular disease
Additional certification or intent to certify in imaging modalities such as echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and/or MRI
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment
Responsibilities and Opportunities
Provide excellent patient care
Involve teaching medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows
Opportunities also exist in clinical research
