TNAA TotalMed RN invites a Med Surg / Telemetry RN to travel nursing in Tyler, TX.

Responsibilities
Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑op patients.
Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
Prepare equipment and aid physicians during examination and treatment of patients.
Educate patients on surgical procedures.
Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan as prescribed by physicians.
Qualifications
BLS, NIH, 2 Years of recent acute care experience.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods of time.
Capacity to lift 20 pounds easily and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to work a fast‑paced environment with patients who may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative.
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
