Coastal Harbor Health System is comprised of a 145‑bed hospital for children and adolescents, providing both short‑ and long‑term inpatient care, and a 50‑bed inpatient hospital serving men and women, ages 18 and up. The Yoga Therapist (Instructor) will work with patients with a range of physical abilities, mental illness diagnoses, and substance abuse issues. The therapist will combine a variety of techniques to aid a person’s personal recovery process, using physical techniques (e.g., stretching and/or strengthening yoga postures) and mental training (e.g., breath work or somatic awareness exercises). Individualized documentation will be required for each patient seen immediately following the completion of each 1‑hour session.

Qualifications
Education / Licensure: The individual must hold a current Yoga Therapist or Yoga Instructor credential. Preference will be given to candidates who also hold an additional current licensure in a HTH‑recognized clinical profession (LPC, LMSW, LCSW, CTRS, MT‑BC, or Licensed Teacher, etc.).

Experience: One (1) year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and an understanding of mental illness, is preferred.
