Maintenance Mechanic – Visual Inspection Production
We are hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to support the Visual Inspection production line at Carley Foundry. The role focuses on the maintenance and repair of foundry equipment and production machines.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience with the installation and mechanical maintenance of industrial equipment in a foundry or manufacturing facility.
Proficiency in welding, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, and minimal electrical work.
HVAC experience preferred.
A Class 5 boiler license is a plus.
Must possess own tools and be able to read and follow all maintenance procedures.
Responsibilities
Rebuild hydraulic cylinders, gearboxes, conveyors, foundry production machines, and related equipment.
Perform welding and fabrication work on foundry equipment.
Replace transport lines, hydraulic hoses, airlines, gas lines, and related components.
Repair mechanical systems on core machines, molding machines, robotic machines, band saws, grinders, vibratory classifiers, rooftop units, industrial hood fans, and doors.
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure continuous production flow.
Pay and Hours
Pay range: $26.30 to $30.30 per hour, depending on qualifications.
Shift 1: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
Shift 2: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm (includes $1.00 shift differential)
