Overview

RQ is currently seeking experienced

Pipefitters

to join our Mechanical team supporting projects at Kings Bay Naval Base, Georgia, and nearby areas. All work is performed on military installations and is compensated according to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements applicable to each site.
Responsibilities

Pipefitters in this role will be responsible for laying out, assembling, and installing piping systems on active construction sites. This includes ensuring all work complies with applicable codes, specifications, and quality standards. The position requires strong technical knowledge of pipefitting practices, along with the proper use of tools and equipment. All work must be performed in accordance with established safety procedures and in alignment with RQ\'s Mission, Vision, and Values.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay: 20.94-46.25 (based on experience)

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
At least 4 years of experience (or equivalent) working as a journeyman-level pipefitter in commercial construction or facility operations
Experience on government, military, or large-scale commercial projects is preferred
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with mechanical pipe installation
Background in deep underground piping work
Experience with system startup and commissioning, including boilers and chillers
Valid pipefitter license or journeyman certification
Current welding certification
CPR, First Aid, and OSHA-10 certifications
