Construction Project Manager

Lead the full construction lifecycle for ground-up builds and large-scale renovations across multiple states
Manage relationships with general contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure quality and accountability
Serve as the central point of coordination between real estate, legal, facilities, and operations teams
Partner with internal stakeholders to align projects with broader portfolio and growth strategy
Review and support negotiation of construction contracts, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation
Develop and track project schedules and milestones from permitting through final delivery
Monitor budgets and proactively address risks to keep projects on track
Provide clear, executive-level reporting on project status and performance
Ensure all builds meet specialized operational requirements, including healthcare-specific infrastructure (e.g., medical gas systems, specialized HVAC, regulatory considerations)
Qualifications:
7–10+ years of commercial construction management experience, specifically with healthcare facilities.
Proven track record managing ground-up construction projects across multiple locations or regions
Experience in healthcare or similarly regulated environments strongly preferred
Ability to operate as a hands-on individual contributor without internal project support staff
Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, and project execution
Working knowledge of contracts and legal documentation related to construction
Proficiency with project management tools and reporting systems
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of an organization
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
Willingness to travel approximately 50%
Ability to work on active construction sites in varying conditions
