Job Overview
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) Organization seeks an Associate Liaison Engineer to focus on Production Review in Tukwila, WA.

Responsibilities

Apply basic knowledge of Boeing design and/or engineering principles to develop interim or final engineering solutions to product/process issues throughout production and/or for technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer.

Analyze, conduct failure analysis, root cause analysis, and troubleshoot to understand root cause.

Provide assistance to identify solutions.

Provide written dispositions for routine design non-conformances.

Support activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety and product/process improvements.

Develop routine customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.

Participate in Material Review Boards (MRBs) and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).

Ensure that supplier and build partner comply with Boeing standards.

Represent the engineering community in the build through post-production environment.

Recommend simple, non-destructive test procedures, tools, and standards.

Conduct simple static strength analysis to validate interim design repairs meet original design loads criteria.

Schedule
This position requires variable shifts, including weekends, overtime, and holidays. The candidate may be assigned to first, second, or third shift and may work on a rotation basis. Shift requirements may vary per location.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non‑US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong communication skills.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively to provide a sound engineering solution.

Pay & Benefits
Summary pay range: $90,950 - $123,050.

Elements of the Total Rewards package include competitive base pay, variable compensation opportunities, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work. Eligibility varies by location, date of hire, and collective bargaining agreements.
