The Opportunity
This position is a remote opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. As a Diabetes Sales Specialist you are responsible for meeting or exceeding sales quotas for ADC Products, collaborating with various stakeholders, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
What You'll Do
Meeting or exceeding sales quotas for ADC Products.
Collaborating with Managed Care, Retail, and Point of Care representatives.
Establishing strong relationships with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other health care constituents.
Acting in a friendly, respectful, adaptive manner while focusing on the needs of others.
Keeping up to date on internal and competitive products and positioning.
Professional and accurate communication of product information.
Planning and executing short‑ and long‑term sales strategies.
Staying current on market trends and competitor strategy.
Engaging in sales‑focused activities: conveying information clearly, responding to questions, listening to provider and patient needs.
Positioning products and services using appropriate resources.
Handling objections and addressing concerns tactfully.
Developing and implementing territory, account, and call plans.
Tracking and reporting progress against sales plans.
Completing administrative tasks accurately and on time.
Maintaining accountability for all samples per division guidelines.
Ensuring compliance with corporate and divisional policies.
Performing additional duties assigned by management.
Experience You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 2–4 years of sales experience with a strong track record, preferably in the health care industry.
Excellent communication skills, high energy, integrity, and ambition.
Preferred
4+ years of relevant experience.
Diabetes clinical knowledge and experience calling on endocrinologists.
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is $68,000.00 – $136,000.00, which may vary by location.
