Overview
Become a part of our caring community. The Dispensing Pharmacist 2 is a Registered Pharmacist who is responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medications to patients. The Dispensing Pharmacist's work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
The Dispensing Pharmacist 2 Scope Of Role And Responsibilities includes participating in the preparation of prescriptions via a highly automated system, checking for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill labels and orders, ensuring content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling, interacting with fellow health care team members, assuring compliance with legal requirements within the pharmacy, processing and checking for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill Braille and Talking Vial orders, researching medication issues, and other duties as assigned by management.
Compensation and Benefits
$5,000 Sign-On Bonus (Payable in 2 installments – first upon hire and the second payment after completing 6 months of employment)
Shift
8-hour shift Monday–Friday between 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. EST (Based on business need). Overtime may include weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) based on business needs.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
Active Pharmacist license from the Florida Board of Pharmacy
Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group
Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving
Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive
Excellent communication skills
Proficient with computers
Must be able to work onsite full time at the CenterWell dispensing Center located at 11010 Florida Crown Dr. Suite 200 Orlando, FL 32824
Physical Requirements
Pharmacists must be able to tolerate, handle, and work around all pharmaceutical products throughout worktime
Pharmacists must have dexterity to continuously twist and grasp items throughout worktime
Pharmacists must be able to reach above waist and shoulders frequently
Pharmacists must be able to bend below waist and twist frequently
Pharmacists must be able to stand during entire work shift, lift up to 30 lbs as needed, frequently reach, bend, stoop, and squat throughout worktime
Pharmacists are solely responsible for processing and verifying all Braille and Talking labels, which come out of dispensing during worktime
Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of experience in a high-volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment
Experience in a high-volume mail order and/or retail setting

Pay Range:
$104,000 - $143,000 per year. This range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting. Pay may vary based on geographic location, demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
