Toddler Teacher
Discovery Junction in Campbelltown, PA is a licensed childcare center seeking a Lead Older Toddler Teacher.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED, and ability to pass all background checks. Previous childcare experience is a plus.

Required Shift
Monday - Friday, hours based on center’s needs.

Compensation
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour, based on education and experience.

Hiring Process

Resume screen

Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes)

On‑site interview with Center Director (30‑60 minutes) – Q&A and classroom observation

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.

Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.

Take initiative, accept constructive criticism and feedback, and make improvements as necessary for the betterment of program quality.

Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.

Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care.

Physical ability to work around small children: sitting, standing, walking, running, climbing stairs.

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
