Position Summary
We are seeking an Ink Jet Operator to set up, operate, and maintain commercial web presses and Versamark Ink Jet systems. This role is key in producing high-quality print, minimizing waste, and supporting a safe and efficient production environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Operate and monitor high-speed Versamark inkjet systems to produce accurate, high-quality output

Set up jobs according to production specifications, including file verification, press calibration, and media adjustments

Work with variable data files to ensure accurate personalization, addressing, and data integrity throughout production runs

Perform routine press checks and control spoilage/waste to maintain efficiency and reduce costs

Follow documented quality control procedures to verify print accuracy, color consistency, barcodes, and addressing

Conduct basic press maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure reliable press operation

Actively participate in department training programs to develop technical skills and stay current on equipment and processes

Collaborate with the team lead and production staff, following all management system procedures, 5S, and Standard Work instructions

Qualifications

Previous experience operating web presses

Kodak Versamark Ink Jet experience

Heidelberg and Goss Web Presses preferred

Mechanical aptitude

Must be self‑motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment

Strong attention to detail

Able to work in fast‑paced environment
