Job Description and Duties
Effective July 1, 2025, under the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) all full‑time employees in Bargaining Unit 4 and related employees will have their base salary reduced by 3% and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part‑time employees are subject to the same conditions on a prorated basis.

California State Prison, Los Angeles County (LAC) is located in Lancaster, CA, 45 miles north of Los Angeles. This Office Technician (T) position is located at this facility.

Position Level: Advanced journey level. The role regularly performs a variety of the most difficult duties and requires a high degree of initiative, independence, and originality. Tasks include detailed public contact, independent origination of correspondence, application of detailed regulations, policies, and procedures, and functional guidance in training and assisting less experienced employees.

Note: A Training and Development (T&D) assignment will not be considered at this time.
