Build the Future with Us — EquipmentShare is Hiring a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic). At EquipmentShare, we’re assembling a team to transform the construction industry through innovative technology, real-time support, and strong teamwork. We’re hiring a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic) at our rental facility in Hot Springs, AR, to provide maintenance and repair for a variety of customer and company-owned heavy equipment and aerial lifts. Mechanics will have the opportunity to work on a modern fleet.
Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, overtime pay after 40 hours. Role may include on-call scheduling with additional compensation.
Responsibilities

Use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models.
Determine root causes and corrective actions to work faster and more accurately.
Practice safe repair practices for equipment.
Operate and use laptops and tablets effectively.
Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment with independent judgment.
Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) daily.
Assist with pickup and delivery of equipment and parts.
Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).
Year-round OEM training provided by the company.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities

Must own tools applicable to the position
Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with understanding of schematics and diagrams
Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
Education and Experience

High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred
Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
Physical Requirements

Must be able to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds intermittently
This is a safety-sensitive position; offer contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen
