
Lead Production Chef

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cook to join our crew aboard a boat, focusing on preparing and plating the same three-course meal for guests each day. Similar to a banquet chef, your primary responsibility will be to execute consistent, well-presented dishes in a maritime environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and plate the designated three-course meal daily, ensuring quality and consistency in taste and presentation.
Coordinate meal timing with the crew to align with guest schedules and boat operations.
Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness in a compact galley kitchen.
Manage and store provisions efficiently given limited storage space and voyage duration.
Adapt plating as needed to accommodate dietary restrictions or preferences.
Oversee service for each course, ensuring neat presentation.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workspaces.
Requirements
Experience as a cook or banquet chef, preferably with plated meal service.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a small kitchen on a moving vessel.
Attention to detail in both flavor and presentation.
Knowledge of maritime food safety practices is a plus.
Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
Alaska Food Handler's card required.
Preferred Qualifications
Culinary training or equivalent experience.
Prior experience on boats or in banquet settings.
Ability to accommodate special diets when needed.
