Spot Welder Operator

Essential Duties:
Operate spot welding machinery to join thin metal sheets or components in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
Set up welding equipment and adjust machine settings as needed for production requirements.
Use jigs, fixtures, and blueprints to properly position parts prior to welding.
Inspect finished welds and perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
Maintain a safe and organized work area while following all established safety procedures.
Assist with basic machine maintenance and report equipment issues as needed.
Requirements / Skills:
Previous basic machine operating experience.
Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
Ability to follow blueprints, work instructions, and production guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing or assembly setting.
Reliable attendance and ability to follow safety protocols at all times.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required by the job.
Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements while operating machinery.
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery and metal components.
