Make a difference today and host an international student! We CURRENTLY have students looking for a home! All Our Students Need Is a bedroom (can be shared with host sibling), 3 meals a day, transportation to and from school if there are no school buses provided, a welcoming family! All other expenses (activity fees, personal items, etc.) are paid for by the student and their natural parents. There is NO monetary compensation for hosting a J‑1 exchange student.
Responsibilities
Provide a bedroom (shared with sibling if needed)
Provide 3 meals a day
Arrange transportation to/from school if no bus
Offer a welcoming family environment
Coordinate with a local coordinator throughout the academic year
Requirements
Have extra space in your home to host a student (room and kitchen access)
Be willing to host students aged 15‑18 at the local public high school
Accept that there is no monetary compensation; all other costs are covered by student and parents
