SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP HANA

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Responsibilities

Design, develop and support side‑by‑side extensions on SAP BTP to enable Clean Core compliant S4HANA Cloud ERP Private implementations

Build scalable BTP solutions that extend SAP S4HANA functionality without custom code in the S4 core

Design, develop and maintain enterprise integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite Cloud Integration CPI

Design and implement integrations between SAP S4HANA, SAP Cloud ERP Private, SAP BTP and other SAP ecosystem applications and non‑SAP systems

Design and architect the migration of legacy file‑based interfaces (CSV, flat files, FTPS, SFTP) to modern API‑based integration solutions

Build iFlows for real‑time and batch integrations between SAP S4HANA BTP services and non‑SAP systems

Assess existing file‑based interfaces and propose future‑state integration designs using SAP BTP Integration Suite

Perform message transformation using Graphical Mapping, XSLT and Groovy scripts

Set up monitoring and troubleshoot integration errors using Integration Suite monitoring tools

Develop and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation and loading such as Azure Data Factory

Perform data extraction, migration and system integration activities

Integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL Server, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Synapse, SAP S4 HANA, PCE, REST APIs, etc.

Develop and consume REST/SOA‑based services for interoperability

Design and architect business process automation solutions using SAP Build Process Automation aligned with enterprise and S4HANA Clean Core strategies

Define end‑to‑end automation architecture using workflows, business rules and process visibility capabilities of SAP Build

Integrate SAP Build automation with SAP S4HANA, SAP BTP services and external systems

Collaborate with enterprise architects to define BTP‑based extension and integration patterns aligned with best practices

Support ECC to SAP S4HANA Cloud ERP Private migration by developing BTP applications and services that operate in co‑existence scenarios

Ensure BTP developments are future‑ready for post‑S4 cutover and cloud‑optimised operations

Develop and consume OData REST and SOAP APIs exposed by S4HANA and other enterprise systems

Leverage SAP Integration Suite capabilities (Cloud Integration, API Management) to orchestrate and govern enterprise integrations

Implement event‑driven integration patterns using SAP Event Mesh (Publish/Subscribe) model for real‑time data propagation

Support asynchronous and synchronous integration requirements across a distributed systems landscape

Develop reusable domain‑driven services for Finance and Master Data domains

Publish and consume business events from S4HANA (e.g., master data transactional events)

Define topics, queues, event schemas, filters and error‑handling mechanisms

Implement secure BTP applications using best practices and security standards

Apply role‑based access control and authorization concepts aligned with enterprise security policies

Ensure secure connectivity between BTP and on‑premise systems using Cloud Connector

Support CI/CD pipelines for BTP development using industry‑standard DevOps tools

Manage application lifecycle using BTP subaccounts, spaces and environments

Design BTP solutions to be highly available, resilient and scalable to support high‑volume operations

Ensure compliance with audit, governance and regulatory requirements

Work closely with S4HANA functional teams, MDG teams, Integration architects, Basis and Security teams

Participate in design, architecture and workshops

Produce and maintain technical design documents, integration specifications and operational runbooks

Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as ADO
