Job Description
Farr Law Firm P.A. is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and highly organized Probate Paralegal to join our Punta Gorda office. In this full‑time, in‑person role, you’ll independently manage key aspects of estate and trust administration; from court filings to asset transfers to meaningful client communication.

A Day in the Life
Your work may include:
Client Communication – supporting clients through the probate process and reviewing financial documentation with care and clarity.
Document Preparation – drafting, organizing, and managing legal documents for attorney review.
Asset Management – assisting with the collection, valuation, and liquidation of estate assets.
Creditor’s Claims – reviewing, tracking, and managing claims filed against the estate.
Tax Filings – assisting with estate tax returns and related filings.
In‑office schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5 pm.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Word).
2+ years of experience in probate or estate planning (paralegal or legal assistant).
Knowledge of fiduciary accounting is a plus.
Experience as a Probate Paralegal preferred, not required.
Florida Registered Paralegal designation is a plus.
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree helpful but not required.
