We’re looking for a skilled Air Import Coordinator to join our client's growing team near San Francisco International Airport (SFO) . The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating international air import shipments from origin to final delivery, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and top-tier customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate air import shipments from booking through final delivery
• Liaise with overseas agents, airlines, customs brokers, and trucking partners
• Prepare and review import documentation (AWBs, commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and other regulatory bodies (FDA, USDA, etc.)
• Track and trace shipments; provide status updates to clients
• Resolve service issues and ensure on-time delivery
• Collaborate with internal sales, operations, and accounting teams

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in air import freight forwarding
• Working knowledge of international shipping terms and documentation
• Familiarity with U.S. Customs procedures and AES filings
• Experience with Cargowise or similar software is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

This is an onsite position

Salary - $55-65K
