
THERAPIST - PHP/IOP (LICENSE REQUIRED)

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and IOP Therapist (LICENSE REQUIRED) – Full Time
Responsibilities
The PHP/IOP Therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic services designed to assist clients in meeting their bio‑psycho‑social needs while enabling them to achieve optimal emotional health. The therapist provides basic consultation, psycho‑education, and specialized clinical social services for consumers and families. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, individual therapy, short‑term family therapy, group therapy, treatment planning, discharge planning, and case management of clients’ internal and external support systems.
The therapist must demonstrate a trauma‑informed approach, effective communication, and a thorough working knowledge of the Illinois Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Act. The therapist should be able to work with patients of all ages and understand normal developmental stages, while possessing knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and applying them when necessary.
Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in a related mental health field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral health facility with direct experience in individual, family, and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, with the majority of experience focused on the child/adolescent population.
• Licensure required: LCPC, LCSW, or Clinical Psychologist licensure, verified through the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations.
