Opportunity
The Vice President, Sales Producer is responsible for initiating new business, building strong client relationships, and providing consultative risk‑management solutions. This role requires a high degree of self‑motivation, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service while meeting sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a profitable book of business through new business generation, renewals, and cross‑selling opportunities.
- Proactively identify and cultivate new client relationships through networking, referrals, and targeted prospecting.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships to support retention, identify additional needs, and deliver superior service.
- Apply a thorough understanding of HUB’s products, services, customers, and carriers to drive profitable growth and align with strategic goals.
- Conduct consultative sales presentations and deliver customized insurance and risk‑management solutions.
- Present HUB’s value proposition effectively in client and prospect meetings.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers and service staff, to ensure quality delivery of services and client satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Document all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates in the CRM system.
- Partner with senior producers to support new business development efforts and cross‑sell.
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction through proactive service and ongoing communication.
- Respond to customer needs promptly, courteously, professionally, and helpfully.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED (college preferred).
- 3+ years of related sales experience within the Employee Benefits space.
- Valid insurance license in good standing.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with ability to interact at all levels.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and various CRMs.
Benefits & Compensation
The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 + DOE and will be influenced by skills, experience, and location. HUB International offers a comprehensive benefits package that may include health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, FSA, HSA, 401(k) accounts, paid‑time‑off, bonus, equity and commission opportunities for eligible positions.
