Role Responsibilities: Assess patients, plan care within set timeframes, and document findings according to policies.
Oversee and supervise shifts, delegate tasks, monitor staff, and ensure adherence to nursing policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of patient care.
Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately, including notifying physicians when necessary.
Administer medications following hospital policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited nursing program or relevant state licensure.
Experience in psychiatric healthcare, especially with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients, is preferred.
Current unencumbered license to practice in the state.
CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment.
Must be at least 21 years old.
