What you'll do:

We are seeking a

Senior Software Engineer, Salesforce

who is a master of technical execution and end-to-end feature delivery. In this role, you will be a force multiplier on the team, owning significant Salesforce initiatives from design through production. While QXO operates in a multi-cloud environment (Salesforce Sales Cloud, Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, GCP), your primary focus will be driving excellence on the Salesforce platform, ensuring our CRM architecture is robust, maintainable, and highly performant.

You will report directly to the

Director of Sales and Marketing Technology

and collaborate with product, design, and sales/marketing teams to build tools that drive measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Technical Execution:

Produce high-quality, maintainable Apex and Lightning Web Component (LWC) code that serves as a reference for the organization.
End-to-End Design:

Lead the design of major features and services within the Salesforce ecosystem, making sound architectural trade-offs regarding scalability, reliability, and governor limits.
Delivery Excellence:

Own the complete delivery lifecycle, establishing testing strategies and improving CI/CD processes (SFDX) to ensure rapid, reliable deployments.
Business Impact:

Partner closely with Product stakeholders to shape roadmaps, translating technical capabilities into business value for our revenue teams.
Mentorship:

Elevate the team's technical bar by mentoring junior and mid-level engineers and administrators and conducting thorough, constructive code reviews.
Problem Solving:

Navigate moderate technical ambiguity and find creative paths around platform constraints to deliver complex projects independently.
Quality & Security:

Champion a security-first mindset, proactively identifying and remediating vulnerabilities while driving improvements in code quality and test coverage.
What you'll bring:

Required

Experience:

5+ years of software engineering experience, with a significant focus on developing at scale on the Salesforce platform.
Salesforce Mastery:

Deep expertise in

Apex

(asynchronous, bulk-safe patterns) and

LWC

(state management, component architecture).
Architectural Knowledge:

Proven ability to design end-to-end features and integrations within a complex Salesforce environment.
Integration Proficiency:

Experience with RESTful API design and event-driven architectures (e.g., Salesforce Platform Events, CDC).
Modern DevOps:

Hands-on experience with version control (Git), SFDX, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
Communication:

Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred

Framework Mindset & Modularization:

A history of creating or contributing to reusable code frameworks or utility libraries using

Salesforce packaging tools

(e.g., 2GP, Unlocked Packages) to drive technical execution and improve team-wide delivery excellence

Multi-Cloud Awareness:

Familiarity with how Salesforce integrates with external cloud platforms like

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
Certified Professional:

Salesforce Certified System or Application Architect credentials.
Security Focus:

Experience with Salesforce Shield and implementing secure coding practices (OWASP).
What you'll earn

Base pay range: $138,000 - $235,000

Salary Range:
