About the Role
Join HealthFitness as a part-time Water Aerobics Instructor at our client site in Barrington, IL, and help create an engaging fitness experience for members. With approximately five hours per week, this role is ideal for instructors seeking balance and flexibility with the opportunity for a regular position and more classes in the future! In this position you will provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members participating in our water aerobics program.
Minimum Requirements
Current Water Aerobics certification from AEA or FiTour required.
Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
Flu vaccination required during the Fall season.
Compensation: $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. Additional commission opportunities for someone with an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved Personal Trainer certification.
