The company designs and manufactures the security features used in U.S. banknotes and currencies around the world. As a Manufacturing Operator, you'll be part of the front-line team responsible for producing secure, high-quality materials that play a critical role in global economies. This is real work with real impact. You'll:
Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment in a highly controlled environment
Follow detailed procedures focused on safety, quality, and consistency
Work as part of a close-knit team to meet production and delivery goals

Shift options & pay The company offers consistent weekday schedules and competitive pay, with premiums for off shifts:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM

2:00 PM (MonFri) | $19.00/hr
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM

10:00 PM (MonFri) | $21.85/hr
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM

6:00 AM (MonFri) | $22.80/hr

Important note about employment This role begins through one of the company's trusted agency partners while you complete the required security clearance. Once clearance is granted, training is completed, and performance expectations are met, you'll be eligible for consideration as a permanent Crane Currency employee, which typically occurs within 3 months. The company is a drug free workplace. SUITABILITY AND BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION REQUIREMENTS: The final offer of employment will be subject to the applicant's successful completion of a background investigation and favorable adjudication. Failure to successfully meet these requirements will be grounds for disqualification in the hiring process. The background investigation process conducted by Crane and our U.S. Government Agency customers is very thorough. Therefore, it is imperative that applicants exercise candor and honesty when answering background questionnaires, especially as it relates to arrest, employment, education, finances, illegal drug use, and/or other criminal history. Falsification discovered in security documents or during the background investigation process may result in an immediate negative suitability determination.
